Thanks bettynito. I'm also from NY and had a weave done by Esther on 6/26/12. Ladies, get yourhair done by Esther. Esther is very personable, knowledgable and patient. Esther went with me to purchase my hair (she saved me approxmately $40.00) because I purchased the wrong type of hair. Esther helped me to decide what hairstyle. Very Bad customer service, they don't respect customers, and basically take your money. I observed Two young working in the wig section basically ignored two customers who were standing waiting while they discussed drama, I wouldnt recommend the place to them to anyone.

I thought their selection was good but customer service is terrible. I went to buy some human hair extensions and needed help finding the right color. The store is poorly lit which makes shade matching difficult. The employee picked out a color for me. I asked if I could bring it back if it was the wrong shade and she said yes. At home, I removed one of the extensions from the box and saw that it was definitely not the right shade. I then saw on the receipt that they had a strict no refund policy with most of their products. I called the store to explain what happened and asked if I could still bring it back. I was told yes, you can. So I went all the way back to Eastway area to be told that I could neither get a refund nor store credit. I did not think this was fair since it was the employee that picked out the wrong color AND failed to tell me about their no refund policy.

I am done with Tisun. I will say that they do have a large variety of products but I think thay are so overrated. I am so tired of seeing all these asian owned black beauty supply stores. They know nothing about our hair all they know is enough to get our money. I have natural hair I dont use perms so I like to use natural hair and body products. They don't sell ""real"" organic stuff. I think that going to a black own hair supply store is best, they may not have all the weave's and wigs but you will get better service, respect and better products.

Don't appreciate black dollar
Tisun is a large beauty supply store, however they do not appreciate the black dollar. I would caution all black shoppers, because the owners have shown to be disrespectful and unappreciative of our money.

There is no store with the variety that Tisun has. The wig prices are reasonable as I have checked the internet prices. They are in fact a little lower at Tisun. It is a huge store. Okay I give it to you maybe they don't know all the products but people read the label. It is no rocket science. There are stylist that can answer your questions if you approach with with manners. Their english is fine and who else is providing you with such a wide variety. you can also try on wigs with the purchase of a wig cap and receive a $2 off coupon.

Went here to buy a wig after employees at JWig right down the street were just plain rude. Tisun has a huge selection of wigs and the employee that was over by the try-on station did everything she could to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for

A Challege To Keep Product
Very large nice size store with alot of inventory and etc.; however they challenge to stay stocked with human hair that is displayed on the wall units. Black colors like 1B and 1's are rarely in stock and if you need a certain inch of two or more packs of the same hair you are short. Normally they carry very short inchs and jump from 8 in.-10 in. to 16 inches. In my opioion I'm now second guessing the demand to make a profit. The longer the hair the more it cost; therefore they don't care about 12-14 inches. Instead they have stocked inventory in longer hair. The price difference changes a whole lot because of length. They are short staffed and are very unknowledgeable about the products that they sell. Someone from the streets can go and run the business better than the people that are there now.
