Had a good friend recommend I try Satin Med Spa because they were now starting to offer a laser tattoo removal service. I have two tattoos I regret, that I got many years ago and now prefer removed. I'd had three treatments at two local businesses but wasn't seeing practically any progress at all. I've had my fourth and fifth sessions at Satin and finally I see fading! I know it'll take several more visits but I know I'm on the right track. Does it hurt? Of course! Anyone who tells you otherwise just doesn't know! I was introduced though to a cooling system blowing cold air directly on my tattoo while the laser was applied. (Think your car ac vent cranked right up) and yes it made the process a lot more tolerable! Reasons not to use Satin for this procedure?....There aren't any. Professional and friendly.

Initially I was a little skeptical, mostly because in places like that they try to sell you everything. Well as it turned out, I had a really good experience. The staff is very friendly and they try to offer and help you as much as they can without pushing too hard. They are knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with Rachel and I definitively will come back for more treatments. If you have any beauty concerns ask for Renee. She is great at explaining the available options.

I cannot say enough good things about Satin Med Spa. They have been wonderful to work with, fair with price, and the results are amazing! After only 4 treatments, I hardly have to shave at all! I had my underarms done at another place nearby several years ago, and Satin Med Spa is having to touch it up for me. But, it really goes beyond that for me with Satin Med Spa. From the luxuirous wraps that you put on to the cozy temps of the location - it feels much more like a spa than a business office or doctor's office. The customer service people, sales people, and technicians are amazing. The nurse practicioner is so skilled and knowledgeable, you will find yourself referring to her for many areas of advice. Definitely check them out if you're shopping for any of their services - I can assure you they are the best in town!

I love the hair removal. I used to suffer from bad razor bumps and now they are gone with the hair. I tried to sign up for hair removal once down at Carolina Place Mall and the service didn't work, they went out of business. Satin Med Spa is the real deal!

The comfortable atmosphere, professional and courteous staff, from my first consultation on was awesome. The medical providers are extremely knowledgeable,and made me feel safe and comfortable with doing a medical procedure like this, they take what they do very serious and they treat each patient with such a personalized experience, so happy I choose them. I had never done laser hair removal before and was concerned with possible risks but they took the time to explain everything about the procedure and what to expect, how they always put safety first, I'm so happy I choose Satin Med Spa for my laser hair removal, not only was it practically painless but I've gotten the most amazing results...I finally have a hair-free back, nice and smooth, and don't have to take all of the endless time and hassle I used to have to spend on trying to get rid of the hair on my back. I absolutely loved my experience at Satin Med Spa. Even though I was a new patient I felt so welcomed the moment I walked in the door. I was greated with a smile immediately. The atmosphere is unlike any other med spa in the area. They have an amazing staff that is highly trained and very knowledgeable. You can tell the minute you walk in how important you are to them. I had laser hair removal done and I am so pleased with the results. I completed my package and the thought of not shaving is abolutely amazing! I would highly recommend their hair removal!

I am so happy with the experience I had at Satin Med Spa. I spent my life being hairy and having to shave my legs and deal with painful bumps after shaving. After only one hair removal treatment I could tell the difference and this summer I had soft, unblemished legs and could forget about shaving all together! I wish I had done it twenty years ago. Katie is very professional but also personally interested. She is caring and empathetic and listened to my needs. Because she is a doctor specializing in women's health, I felt less self conscience about my body and felt I could trust her to make assessments about the services I needed.

I have always been extremely self-conscience about my dark hair and have been craving laser hair removal for years. I was finally given the opportunity at Satin Med Spa and after 2 treatments have been amazed at the results and was more than satisfied with the service. It was an amazing experience all together. The Staff are not only friendly, but very welcoming. It is a beautiful and inviting facility, as well as having a clinical aspect once in the procedure rooms when receiving treatments. I have many more plans past my hair removal and I trust and want Satin Med Spa to help me achieve my goals. I 100% would tell anyone to go. I am more than pleased with Satin Med Spa.

The woman isn't very nice she is completely a fraud. This place will be close in two years tops. I PROMISE YOU! Stay away from their living social or groupon deal. I think they have written their own reviews as well. I haven't seen one bit or results and Jennifer is extremely pushy. She's the manager, owner, and receptionist. This is a ma and pop shop. Find a place that has been in business for a long time so you don't lose your money. DON'T DO IT!

I first heard of Satin Med Spa shortly after they opened and they were running a special on Botox. I decided to try it and was thrilled with the results. I especially liked the way the friendly staff made me feel so comfortable. It is such a relaxed and welcoming environment. I asked about other services including hair removal services and made the decision to do this as well. I am halfway through the sessions and already notice an amazing reduction of hair on my legs and underarms. I recently noticed that they were offering the Smooth Shapes cellulite reduction treatments. After learning more about this, I once again chose to try it for myself. I have completed 5 of the 8 sessions on my legs and stomach and notice a big difference...my skin is smoother and more firm. The treatment is so relaxing...it's like getting a massage! I can't say enough about Satin Med Spa and the staff. I look forward to every visit! Try it once and you will keep coming back!

Satin Med Spa near South Park Mall is awesome! After recently experiencing trauma during labor and delivery of my new born baby and going through a long recovery process, it was time to do something for myself! Satin Med Spa was the answer! Honestly, I was terrified of doing anything to my body and was extremely nervous about lasar hair removal, but wanted it very badly. I made an appointment and was instantly calmed about having lasar hair removal after meeting all the ladies that work at Satin Med Spa. The environment is incredible: friendly, clean, and well worth every penny spent. I look forward to scheduling the next part of my body that will have more lasar hair removal!

This is just a word to the wise for those who purchased the $139 Living Social Deal for 3 treatments. They will immediately try to up sell you and tell you that in 3 treatments you will not be hair free. I really wanted to see how much 3 treatments reduced my hair, but I was pressured ""to get the industry recommended 7 treatments plus a lifetime of once a year treatment in the event hair returns"" which ended up costing hundreds more. I went in thinking I was getting a good deal on laser hair removal and I left thinking that might not be the case. I wish I had been prepared in the extra costs that this was going to cost me or that I had left and thought about what I wanted to do instead of feeling pressured to make a decision on the spot. I have only just begun my treatment so I am not sure if it will work for me or not. I think if in the end, I am hair free in the areas I choose, I will be happy even though it was pricey. Overall the staff was very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable getting it done.
