Disappointing and EXPENSIVE

This place has all the makings of a great dining experience....beautiful house, gorgeous table settings, elegant ambiance...but then you get to the food! For $90 I would expect a real effort, but this meal was anything but. All trite, completely DONE food. Nothing new and nothing particularly interesting. Yes, there are lot of courses, but they include obviously store-bought lemon sorbet, re-frozen meat, really ordinary veggies, not so hot sauces, and so-so dessert. Big on fluff and presentation. Okay, if you like eating flowers. This place is all about the show. If that's what you want, by all means go for it, but for my money I would like a good food experience. I can live without a rose on my plate if I can get some real potatoes (I swear mine were instant!). Go here only if you wish to impress guests who really don't know good food. You will get a good show, but mediocre food.
