        Down in NC visiting my family and my cousin took me to la wan's, best soulfood I ever had, fell in love with the food and a nice lady I met there. Thinking about leaving NY!

        Successfully serving the Charlotte area since 2001, La'Wan's Soul Food is a family business in a family-style restaurant with old family recipes made to a new modern twist. On any given day you are likely to see Ken Adams waving from the kitchen, one of the the Adams daughters waiting tables, and La'Wan Adams herself holding court chatting with customers, most of whom she knows by name. La'Wan's serves lunch and dinner as well as providing catering services to local businesses and the neighboring residential community. Notable customers include the Charlotte Bobcats and Carolina Panthers, along with area companies such as Microsoft, community leaders and local and national celebrities.
