I have been introduced to Fujo's Sushi, and I have to say, it's always very tasty and fresh. I have never ordered anything that wasn't made with the freshest ingredients. I have ordered things I didn't end up liking, but my favorite to order is a lunch combo of spicy salmon, and mixed vegetables. The singapore rice noodle is good if you like curry. And Buddha's delite is a wonderful vegetarian dish. If you eat in, rather than takeout you do seem to get more food.

The sushi is just OK- kind of like the kind you'd get at Harris Teeter. The chinese dishes are oily. It tastes more like a strip-mall fast food chinese takeout, but is priced like a sit-down place. You can get away with a $7 lunch, but I do not believe it is worth my money. The atmosphere is nice, tho. Eating near the Hilton is always fun.

I had a bad experience today. It took over 15 min to seat us when there were empty tables, and folks who came after us were being seated ahead. I had to get up and say something. It took over 20 min for our order to arrive, and when I asked our waiter to check on the order, he said he would but went straight to doing something else but rushed back when he saw me walking towards the manager. When the order arrived, it was wrong. I called for the manager and her response was ""But I didnt take the order!"" without any apologies. She was extremely rude and dismissive. Will not be returning.
I've been going to Fujo's for the last 5 months or so and I must say that after a long day of work, their seafood su and dragon roll always hits the spot. They also have Chinese food if you actually want your fish cooked. And the service is consistently fast and friendly. Five stars!
This is the one place we have not gotten tired of in our 2 years of coming to Charlotte to do consulting work. It is close to the Westin, Hilton, Courtyard Marriott and the Holiday Inn. The food is really good, although, the Godzilla ('Godzirra') Roll is taking a bit of a dive. Try the salad, the ginger dressing is really good. They don't have the spicy scallop roll on the menu, but if you ask, they will make it for you. The Chinese food here is also pretty good. Certainly the best Chinese in Uptown (way better than the one in Independance Center and somewhat better than Soho Bistro). The wait staff here are very attractive. I agree that Dao is awesome. She knows my whole team by name. If you are in the mood for Sushi, don't want to pay Niko prices, this place is your best bet in Uptown Charlotte. I will keep coming back until I no longer need to come back to Charlotte. Happy eating!

FuJos -- located uptown in the Wachovia Bldg -- offers a great atmosphere for Asian cuisine. (come on CitySearch, get with it -- this should NOT be listed as a french cuisine establishment) The hostess (Megan) is awesome, and the wait staff (especially Dao -- Vietnamese for ""peaches"") are incredible -- excellent service with beautiful smiles! I give the food prices a ""moderate"" -- a little on the high side when compared to other Charlotte sushi bars -- but again, the atmosphere, service, and location probably have something to do with that. This is more of an upscale establishment -- not your typical ""hole in the wall sushi bar"". Come prepared to eat great cuisine (I highly recommend the Szechwan Chicken [extra spicy] and the Godzilla roll and/or Fire-cracker roll). You'll also experience great service with a lovely smile.

I have yet to find a good sushi spot in Uptown Charlotte. It just was not good. The mood is very cold, the hostess was friendly but the waiter was not. The Fish was old and the Tempura was too oily. If you are looking for good Sushi, do NOT go here and actually, wouldn't recommend it for their Chinese food eaither. Too overpriced

if you like chineese food fujo is a great pick! wonderful food and great service, amazing presentation at dinner service and only crowded by day. Although if sushi is what you want to eat bring your check book because it is way too pricey to be competitive in charlottes market. Where most sushi spots in charlotte will offer up the same quaility, Fujo will charge nearly double what most are offering.
