Store Manager: poor customer service

Just went this evening (2/14/2011 @ 7:45 PM) to return some sodas left over from Superbowl Sunday. Like must of us, did not find my receipt but the sodas were not open, could be resold. Asked the manager for a credit and as he was texting with his cell phone, not looking at the customer (myself), he said no to my money back. I never asked for the money back, since I know I did not have my receipt. I respectfully asked again for a credit, and of course, he was still texting while I was talking to him. At the third time I explained myself that I just wanted a credit, since I was buying some groceries, he said OK to me and still texting in his cell phone. This is really POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I hardly complain from a sales person, but this is the manager, so no one that I could bring this situation to their attention. To the Food Lion corporate offices, you must talk to this manager, so this situation does not affect the good image of your managers and personnel. This is the first bad experience in any Food Lion and I hope is the last (store @ Rocky River Rd - zip code 28213).
