I would say this is an overpriced Ryan's Steakhouse. Like any bargain bin steakhouse, the only thing that was good was the ROLLS! We waited past our resevation time (the buzzer was broke). The meats were disappointing, chewy and over seasoned. For the money that we spent, almost any other place would have been better.

Overall
not worth the price

I have eaten here 3 times; twice with work and once on Valentines.

While the atmosphere is great and the wait staff fantastic the food leaves something to be desired. The salad bar is one of the best I've ever seen and anyone could make a full meal from it but the meat (that’s why we came) is always a little salty and the last time I went there for a Valentines dinner the meat was over cooked especially the beef and the lamb had so much Rosemary on it I could hardly get it down. It was certainly a disappointing meal for the price. I actually have had better at the local Longhorns Steaks for less than a third of the price. If you want to drop bucks to impress someone on a first date you can certainly do it here; But if you want to have a quality high end meal I’d suggest Ruth Chris or some of the other high end restaurants before Chima.

Chima Steakhouse named after chimarrao, a traditional drink of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolizes hospitality and friendship-certainly lives up to its name. Legend has it, in South Brazil traditional gauchos (cowboys) would consume a diet that consisted almost entirely of beef. The meat was seasoned, placed on skewers, and slow cooked over a wood burning flame. Historically, gauchos were known for their generosity and hospitality.Chima Steakhouse named after chimarrao, a traditional drink of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolizes hospitality and friendship-certainly lives up to its name.
