One time, I explained the ducting that needed replacing. I explained that their technicians had already seen and discussed the problem with me and that I needed a quote. Receptionist scheduled a service call to quote exactly what I had explained. They billed me $90 (without telling me beforehand) for that quote. I ended up doing it myself in 1 hour when their quote included 2 professionals doing it for 2 hours (4 hours billed).
I wanted to give them a second chance. So, last week, I scheduled a new service call. We were supposed to be called 1/2 hour before the technician could get there. They called 5 prior and then charged extra to reschedule after hours. Then the technician arrived and proceeded to quote absurd prices for a service and make smart remarks over the phone. After I told him to leave, he called my wife and demanded payment. $135 to have a professional tell me what I already knew. Another company charged $190 and did more than was quoted by the Charlotte Comfort Systems rep.
