Great place to go shopping for home improvement items, with their hands on staff, your experience is made easy. Any home improvement items i need, i get from their. Once i had to return window shutters twice for them to be re-cut and they were done without any grudges. I know they shoul'nt grudge at any work to be done but what am saying is the attitude they display atleast to their customers at the attendants and sales men and women level is great. At management level, well i dont know. Once i was there and a woman wanted to see the manager for clarification on some offers that they were running, and whoever was on the other end of the intercom at the managers office will not even come out to see the lady customer and would rather talk on the phone. Eventually it was sorted out though with the managers still not comming out, but i think this was wrong on the part of managemnt. Chitchat around reveals that the managemnt of this branch have a tendency to lord it over their staff, just given orders here and their on how they want things done, with little or no personal involment and little or no room for staff ideas and contribution to the process. Given that the average visit to the store ends with friendly and fruitfull interactions with the general staff of attendants and sales people with no recourse to get to management level, i still give them a 100%.

I live so close to this Whole Foods and we waited and waited for into open. I go all the time and I will continue to go. W really do love many things about it, however there are some small things worth mentioning.... There have been some times that I have left WF disappointed with the overall quality of the food.... I have been fortunate to only deal with kind employees at this WF, however the quality of the food (also salad bar) depends on the employees. W spend a lot of money there, we meaning ALL of us. In my opinion, they should be serving only the freshest foods. I went today and every fresh basil packet was molded. I was so disappointed as my recipe for tonight's dinner calls for fresh basil. Last week I went there for a bag of spinach and there was none... Second time this has happened. Harris Teeter never runs out of spinach! Also, on occasion, the salad bar has been disappointing. Once there was no protein on the salad bar.... No chicken, turkey, nothing. Often the greens are withered. Anyway, I'm hoping an employee reads this review and does something about it. Like I said, I'll continue to go back bc it's so convenient to my house, but often times it leaves me dissatisfied and 80$ (or more) poorer...not that I'm complaining about their prices... We all know its an expensive supermarket.
It's a grocery store with a lot of personality and more than just food! They have a really nice buffet type of restaurant within the store. You can eat inside or on the patio. The food is a little different, organic and healthier food like tofu and non hormone chicken, so some people may be off-put at first, but the food is really tastey and wonderful! Their bakery is out of this world! Who knew eating healthy could be so delicious! There is also a well-ness, drug store kind of section. So if you are looking for organic cosmetics, soaps, aromatherapy, homeopathic medicine, etc. this is the place to look! Huge section devoted to wine and cheese. I think that they have tasting of both, though I have never taken part. They also have wellness classes in a room off to the side of the restaurant. The employees are always friendly and willing to give advice on products.
