        For over 45 years, Tornado Products Industrial Strength cleaners have been impressing industries with its many uses and incredible cleaning powers. It all started over 40 years ago when Charlie Shaheen, the founder of Tornado Products, invented the awesome cleaning solution that became Tornado 50. Tornado Products was developed in St. Albans, a small community in West Virginia with an area of only 3.7 miles wide. The town was founded in 1816 and underwent several name changes until 1871, when a town council member suggested that it be named St. Albans, after his own home town of St. Albans, Vermont. With the town having only a couple of thousand people in it, the word spread fast about Tornado 50s cleaning power. The products versatility in cleaning various surfaces and materials made it a popular choice for many industries of the area including mining, shipping, restaurants, heavy machinery and even car washes, just to name a few.In 2002, after many years as a successful business owner, Shaheen sold Tornado 50 and the Tornado Products Company to Lee Roberts, who currently owns and operates the business. Although the Tornado Products inventor Shaheen passed away in 2008, his vision of ethical business practices and squeaky clean interiors and exteriors stays alive with Roberts, who is dedicated towards making Tornado Products a necessity in every household and business.
