Trident Medical Center

I took my husband to Trident in Moncks Corner and even before the doctor came in. There was a lady that can in wanting to know what credit card we wanted to use and we have insurance. I will never go back to this hospital.

Grossly understaffed. Rude and inconsiderate nurses. A few of the nurses were wonderful. Broken equipment. Did not keep family informed as promised. Overcrowded. Would not recommend to anyone for surgery or post-operative care.

I went to the ER recently at the TMC in Monck's Corner. Though I was seen quickly, I was diagnoses incorrectly. I was told I had really bad food poisoning and was given by the doctor I saw, Thompson, ibuprofen and tylenal and a medication to ease my stomach problem on a Thursday night. I had a follow up appointment with a physician at Palmetto Primary today (monday) and was told I did not have food poisoning but something MUCH more serious. The doctor at TMC was in my room for 2 minutes and diagnosed me immediately with food poisoning. While I spent 3 hours at my appointment with Palmetto and figured out I had IBS.

This is a horrible hospital, it is full of incompetent and rude nurses and staff. Especially on the 2nd floor. They made the birth of this child a horrible experience. Don't waste your money or insurance at this hospital. Mother's beware!
