Condon's Bridal Boutique

I am writing this with my wife, Louisa Condoleza, who bought her wedding gown from Condon's Bridal Boutique. We knew about their ties to the old Condon's Department Store. We both used to ride on the carousel in the downtown store when we were little and I remember walking across that enclosed ramp on the second floor that extended across the street and connected the two buildings. I remember it was like going into a new world!



We were excited to do business with Condon's Bridal Boutique and found Frances Condon to be one of the nicest and most knowledgable people we have ever dealt with. We felt no pressure. It was relaxing and Frances is funny as heck. She's seen it all! You can tell she loves what she does. She had so many selections but it didn't take long for Louisa to fall in love with Alfred Angelo, the Piccione Bridal Collection, and she was gorgeous wearing it!



Louisa had looked at a lot of bridesmaid dresses too but again loved the Alfred Angelo selection because of so many colors, though she did like the Dessy dresses too. Condon's had a wide selection of dresses to try on and very large dressing rooms. Alfred Angelo won out so we had a total Alfred Angelo wedding, the girls did anyway!



I loved being able to pick up Louisa's gown on time. In fact, it was in early and ready to go.



They had so much information on their web site about weddings and wedding fashion in general it got us going quickly and was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Condon's Bridal Boutique if you want to feel relaxed and confident the whole time. It's nice to work with a company that is part of a Charleston tradition going back to the late 1800s! I'll never forget that carousel!
