Veterinary Surgery
New Castle Veterinary Hospital opened its doors in 1994. Since that time our focus has been on building long standing, loyal relationships with our clients based on superior service and top notch care. We are a state of the art, veterinary hospital offering a broad range of comprehensive medical, dental and surgical services. We provide care for the communities of Chappaqua, Mt. Kisco, Pleasantville, Armonk, Millwood, Briarcliff Manor and surrounding areas.
Spaying and Neutering
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

Laboratory Services
We offer in-house blood testing before surgery. For geriatric or ill pets, additional blood tests, electrocardiograms, or x-rays may be required before surgery as well.
