Harry's Market at White Cross is a must visit! Teresa Smith opened a local market that has become an excellent outlet for locally grown vegetables and meat, home made bakery goods, crafts of all types by local artisans, and there is even a small business center. No more riding into Carrboro or Chapel Hill to make copies or send a fax! The small business center has Wi-Fi, printers, office supplies, and office space to rent. Perfect for the upstart or small business owner who doesn't want or need to invest in office equipment. Harry's front porch is a gathering place for music, beverages, and visiting with friends and locals. Recently, Teresa had 7 beautiful golden lab puppies up at the market for sale. Next door, MelodyJemison makes stunning carved candles and you can watch Melody work. You never know what pleasant surprises await at Harry's! Harry's is located across from Fiesta Grill on Hwy 54 just west of Carrboro.

Whole Foods has super bargains on bulk spices, whole grain organic cereals, 360 brand items of all sorts. It has the lowest price I have found this year on canned pumpkin, lower than Walmart, Lowes, or Food Lion. I also frequent the seafood section and the "health & beauty aids" section -- for vitamins, tonics, and pure lavendar soap, all at reasonable prices. The quality can't be beat anywhere.
Whole Foods has some of the best inhouse foods!. They have a hommade Trout dip that cannot be beat. They also have the best coffee ever--(Breakfast Blend). Their Flowers are beautiful--I have never seen better arrangements. A very cool place to go--
