Days Inn

I had made reservations for 2 rooms with connecting doors since we have children a week in advance by phone.By the time I finished telling the young lady for when and and how many rooms she asked for my credit card number after that she was about to hang up and I stoped her asking if she wasnt going to give me the confirmation number and she said " oh.. yea". When we got to the hotel they did not have the rooms clean so we had separate since we got a room upstairs and another downstairs. The rooms were steamy hot.. the air con unit was turned on but sounded as if it was on low.. We sweat all night long.. the following morning Front Desk called if we were going the want the room again and I told her "yes".So after the party that we were going to attend and I put the "Don't Disturb" sing on the door because the room didn't need cleaning . After we get back and the ac unit was off .. they argued because we had not paid, but the rooms were reserved for 2 nights.. I had already paid..The older lady appologized but after going for a weekend out who wants to go to a hotel and spend miserable nights?
