We have been serving the C-U area since 1926. We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our airport transportation shuttles go to Indianapolis, Peoria, Bloomington and Willard (Savoy), and Saint Louis.
Whether it's on campus or around town, we look forward to serving you.
We can also accommodate larger groups with our shuttle vans that are available for your needs.
We can also offer services for commercial accounts and provide package delivery.

I'm very sick so I didn't want to take…
I'm very sick so I didn't want to take the city bus to school, so I called Yellow to come get me from my house at 10:40 and drop me off at Parkland at 11:00 when my class starts. I also ask for them to pick me up at the x wing at 1:00pm to take me home. so as I am waiting by my front door looking out the window every five minutes. its like 10:45 and they are still not here so I call and the woman who answered had to know it was me because for some reason she sounded annoyed, i asked her where my ride is and she tells me that they should be there any moment. so I continued to wait but to my surprise it has turned 11:00 already, so I'm late for class I call again and this time I know she knows its me because she let it ring for ever and then she picks up talking about how she doesn't understand whats taking her driver so long bla bla bla. then she says they will pay half of my far because of the situation witch still didn't change the fact that i was late....Then come to 1:00 pm I'm waiting outside of the X wing and there is no taxi, but then I see one zoom by the entrance and of parkland skip the X wing and go to the D wing so I rush over there and just when I was about to reach it they leave and I'm stuck on the city bus Never again will I ever give them my money . I wish i didn't have to give them a star

I had scheduled a taxi today to pick up a UIUC faculty member and transport him to the airport. Unfortunately, the faculty member stood outside for 30 minutes after the taxi was to arrive, during that time, he called Yellow Checker's main number several times, each time he was told they would be there in 5 minutes, again and again. After the 4th call, they stopped answering the phone all together. The taxi did not show up at all. This is the 3rd time this has happened in the last several months, and I don't rely on taxis often, for this very reason. This is unacceptable business practice, and I will let others on campus know that Yellow Checker Cab is NOT reliable.

I was very pleasantly surprised after…
I was very pleasantly surprised after having read other reviews. Both the Dispatcher and the driver were professional. The driver was personable and courteous without being overly chatty. My cab arrived exactly when and where requested. The cab was clean and all seat belts, doors and windows worked properly. If the need for a cab arises again, I will definitely call Yellow Checker Cab.

I would never use this company again.
And I don know why their company is listed several times under different name in the same page in the web when there are other companies to be listed as well.
When I called telling them my destination, first of all, they were really rude. They just checked my location and hung up without waiting. They did not even ask my phone number.
I waited 40min then called back. They were yelling at me telling me that driver went there but I wasn't there. They never told me presumed waiting time and they did not call me when they came to my place-duh, they did not have my phone number. I was waiting inside the building.
This happened so many times that I just get so mad....
I would never use this company again. -

when the person picked up the phone, he was really rude. Not only it took them long time to pick up the phone, they did not ask for my phone number or anything. As soon as they knew my destination, they just hung up. I waited for 40 min when presumed waiting time was 20 min. When I called back, they told me they went there and I wasn't there. DUH, I was inside waiting for them to come and they never called because they never checked my phone number. This happened more than once. I will never use this company again.
