My 3 other friends and I had ...

My 3 other friends and I had made an appointment a month before we went to the Cashmere Salon today. Upon arrival, the manager was rude and very disrespectful to us. We told her our names as she looked at us annoyingly and said that 2 of us were not scheduled in the books. (we had called 3 times before to confirm) For 10 minutes we discussed our situation and she did not offer any condolence or apology or admit fault. Someone had erased our names out of the book (which we saw and pointed out to her), and the manager said it was on us to reschedule. All of us had driven a half hour to get there and scheduled babysitters for this date (before our vacations). As we continued to discuss the possibility of refunds or a discount and other different options on what the solution would be to the manager, she became more and more annoyed and sarcastically said to us as she slammed her book down, "it's 25 bucks, please",,,, at this point, she said that our appointments were cancelled. We all stood there (in front of other customers) and were baffled at how rude she was to us (knowing that we were groupon users) ,,, we mentioned that we would be complaining about her salon on this site. I would not recommend using this salon to anyone. We were all flabbergasted at her initial attitude toward us.

Where to begin...it took nearl...

Where to begin...it took nearly 4 phone calls in March and being put on hold for over 5 mins. each time before I was able to even confirm an appointment for my friend and I. Although I called 6-8 weeks prior to our Weekly Plus coupons expiring we were only able to get an appointment well past the expiration date and were told that they would not honor our deals beyond May. The woman responsible for making appointments was not professional and rather curt over the phone. I nearly cancelled my deal following the awful experience of just trying to make our appointments. It was clear that the salon was not staffed to cope with the onslaught of phone calls and response on from the Weekly Plus promotion. The morning of our appointments my gut told me to call and just make sure nothing was amiss with our appointments. Sure enough despite all of the phone calls and confirmations on the appointments they only showed one appointment not two. The nail tech who answered mentioned how she hated when the woman who booked appointments did this implying this had happened before...so why wouldn't they have done something about it? No effort was made to try and rectify the situation or to accommodate us in any way. The only positive is that we didn't drive the 40 mins. to the salon to find out they did not have two slots set aside for us. Weekly Plus was gracious enough to give us a credit to our WP accounts despite the fact that the deal had expired and was beyond the 120 window to give refunds.
