Hill Country Eye Center

My experience with Dr Restivo left me in a quandary, his ego and his lack of compassion is a disappointment to the medical profession. When I left Hill Country Eye Center I was in shock over the price of the procedure I needed and that did not include the cost for the facility for Dr Restivo to preform it at or the anesthesiologist; which I was left on my own to contact. Being upset I did not think to ask about my prescription for glasses. When I called back later and asked about the prescription for glasses I was told I could pick one up for another $45 or if insurance would not pay for it $75...so yes I am disappointed in Dr Restivo and his staff at Hill Country Eye Center.

They overbook customers the wait is awefull. Staff is not helpfull. I'm am very disappointed in their service

Dr. Restivo did my cataract surgery and I'm exceedingly happy with the results. I had radial keratotomy (RK) surgery years ago and wanted a surgeon with experience in cataract surgery for persons who had had RK operations. Dr. Restivo thoroughly explained the operation, answered all questions, and gave an honest appraisal of what to expect. Detailed written information about the surgery and eye drops were provided. I was impressed with the emphasis on avoiding inflammation.



The staff performed the examinations competently and efficiently and insurance claims were processed without issue.



Surgeries were performed at the Hill Country Surgery Center which was accommodating and professional.



Selecting Dr. Restivo was a good choice.
