Chalker Heating and Fuel handled our home's conversion from oil to natural gas. It was the first contracted work that we had done on our new home, and as a first time homeowner I was very concerned about making sure that the job was put into the right hands. CHF is a family run business, and I got the sense very quickly that they were honest, reliable, and capable people. In the end, that 'sense' proved true. Our house is an old one that has had additions and improvements, and that patchwork construction made for a few curveballs that the contractors navigated expertly. In addition, we worked with the Mass Save Heat Loan Program, which added some extra steps to the initial estimate process. CHF did a fantastic job all around, working both with us and for us to make sure that the new heating system met our needs. I plan to call them again when our next major project comes up.
