El Rancho Steak House

We happened to be in San Leandro on business & asked a friend of ours for a wonderful restaurant since our favorite closed. She suggested El Ranch Steak House. I'm glad we stopped in. The food's excellent (in fact, above excellent). One gets what they paid for. The food was prepared wonderfully & appealing. It was seasoned in a way that it tasted wonderfully (most restaurants vegetables are bland. El Rancho Steak House's vegetables are the best). The deserts were wonderful also as was the soup & salad. We're definitely going back for any meal. My family & I would highly recommend El Rancho Steak House.

My husband loves steaks. It doesn't even have to be a good steak. As long as it was once a cow he's generally a happy man. Dennys, Ihop, Multimillion dollar steak house, he'll eat them all. Finally I found a steak he didn't like. The gray nasty hunk that this place served challenged even his iron stomach.



My Monti Cristo was inedible....literally...I sent it back after one bite.



It took 20 minutes to get the bill and they charged me for the food that I didn't eat.



Never, ever again. I never thought I'd say this, but there actually IS a step down from fastfood!
