The food here is awesome. Most of the customers here have been coming for over 5-10 years each. I found this out a couple months ago when Neecha Thai had their 20th Anniversary. I love this place. The service is fast and friendly. The people actually speak good English (which is a welcome change). The manager, Benny, has been with the restaurant for over 10 years and keeps it consistent. In addition, the Head Chef, Joy (I think that is her name), has been with the restaurant for over 15 years. These two help keep Neecha Thai consistently Awesome! In response to Mark S.'s review.....WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? First off, I have nothing to say about whether he thought the pad thai was good or bad (I love it), but I think this guy is reviewing the WRONG place. Most especially because, NEECHA THAI has NEVER had TV Screens!!!!!!!!! I even asked the owner and manager of this place, in the 20 years they have been in business, the have never used TV Screens, Especially to show COCKFIGHTING. I think that Mark should really check his facts before he bad mouths a restaurant since it could actually make people think this place is as bad as Mark is talking about. He doesn't even know what he is talking about~!!!!!!! In conclusion, I love Neecha Thai, the people who keep them fully packed loved Neecha Thai and if you try it, I'm sure you will Love it TOO!!!!!
I was in San Francisco for the day, and walking along the sidewalk looking for a place to stop into for lunch since we had just come in off the freeway. We saw the sign and noticed it wasn't too extremely busy and decided to give it a try. I had never eaten Thai food before so we ordered a few items from the menu. This was back duriing the summer months so I don't recall the names of what we ate, but let me assure you, it was all extremely never to be forgotten tasty. We had a shrimp fried rice, crab fried rice, red curry salmon, and another dish. the crab fried rice was by far my favorite -- out of this world good - kind of sweet, and fresh real crab. I added a little red chili oil (sits on the table) and whoo-hoo! Make sure you try their special ice tea (just make sure you have a beverage if you'r gonna try the red chili oil :-). I can't wait to take another trip to San Francisco, so I can stop by again. Only thing, it is kind of on the small side and not much to see.
I have been in San Francisco for about 2 years. I came across this restaurant from a luncheon that the VA Medical Center placed back in December 2008. I was so impressed with the food. This is my first time eating thai food. It is "Excellent". I especially like the Thai Ice Tea - (non-alcoholic). I give a 100+ rating to "Patpong" Restaurant. Thank you. D. Mendoza VA Medical Center
