i had the exact same experiences as these other disappointed reviewers. definite scammer - this family owns/runs every business in that retail lot and they all cover for each other.
owner of the repair shop simply didn't show up for nearly a week-no sign posted, noone covered for him-nothing.
and he runs you in circles with when to pickup, or when he'll call, as well as his 'estimates'; asks you to upfront payment then does half-assed jobs making you wait and wait. then you start returning over and over thinking that will help get your belongings faster.
absolute worst business in castle rock.

This is my first review ever on the internet and it took this place to make it happen. Worst customer service I have ever had. The guy who works their is very rude and rips people off. I took on five of my wifes chains 3 weeks ago. I asked for an estimate he said would need to look at and give me a call. A week later I went back....I hadn't got a call. A lady was at the counter complaining about the work done to her shoes.....She left he looked at me and remembered me and said will give you a call in a couple of days. He called and said a specific price, which I thought was high, but wanted to have it for Christmas for my wife. Just got a call today saying it was ready. He rang up the amount and it was 10 dollars over the amount specified. After doing the math with me he wrote down another price down, which was not the set price in the first place.After arguing with him for a couple minutes I just wanted my wifes chains and to get out so I payed.......after that he said next time they break bring them back in.......What nerve. I said no you just ripped me off I wont be back. I dont care if it's 5 or 100 dollars you over charge someone it's wrong.....Dont go to this place

One of the WORST experiences of my life! Wish I had read the bad reviews before I took my repairs in to them! It's been a joke. Took in 2 pairs of shoes and 2 bags to be fixed. I've been there SIX TIMES ... got the shoes on trip 2; got nothing on trip 3; one bag on trip 4; and trips 5 and 6 ... again NOTHING. Each time they give me another date/time to retrieve them but I get there and there is little to no apology or excuse. Second bag still NOT repaired and NOT at the location. Told them I want my bag tomorrow regardless ... they told me to show up @ 10am but my bag will NOT be fixed and they have refused to refund my money. This is crazy and such bad, bad business. At this point I just want my bag back and never, ever do I want to see them again. Someone needs to SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy is a CROOK! Warning!!!!! He asks for payment upfront and does not complete the job. We took two pairs of shoes to him...one pair ended up with the wrong heel size and the second pair was never repaired. We were not angry at first, thinking that he just didn't have time to finish. So we simply asked him what needed to happen next. At that point he started SCREAMING at US, "You don't question me!!" (in his broken English). He then slammed his arms down on a metal shelf nearby. Seriously, unacceptable. There was absolutely no reasoning with this guy, he yelled at US until we finally left. We thankfully paid with a check, placed a stop payment and will NEVER return. Ran into another customer that had the same experience. He fixes nothing! Collects money in advvance and then blames you for his inability.
