Beau Monde Kennels

Every dog owner realizes if a kennel is pet friendly by the way their dog reacts to the staff. Our dog gets excited every time we leave her at Beau Monde which gives us a wonderful piece of mind knowing that she will be well taken care of while we are out of town. Mike and and family and staff are special people because they treat our dogs with great care and kindness.Thank you.

Let me first start by saying THANK YOU Mike, Carly Mitch and Debbie, for everything you have done for us and our pets. My wife and I recently relocated overseas. The country we moved to is not a really "pet friendly" country. The amount of red tape and regulations can be overwhelming at the least. We had everything arranged to ship our two Jack Russell Terriers with the exception of one piece of paper that should have been a stamp and good wishes. Literally at the last moment we were told that our dogs were denied entry. Now I come to Beau Monde Kennels.We looked at 5 kennels in the area from Castle Rock to Denver to the Springs. We were very apprehensive about the kennel we chose as our dogs would have to be boarded for up to 3-4 months if we were not able to work thru the regulatory red tape in our new country. We needed a kennel that not only could care for animals but could also bring them to the shipper at the airport and arrange for a final vet check Every kennel we visited with the exception of Beau Monde gave us a " not so warm and fuzzy feeling". From the second we walked thru the door at Beau Monde we were met by professionals. We knew we had found the right place. The team at Beau Monde not only understand dogs but they truly Love their work. We dropped our two dogs off the day before we left. Carly and Debbie met us at the gate and welcomed our dogs. They did not just take them and put them in a cage but spent about an hour getting to know the dogs with us so that they were comfortable with them before we left. Shiner our older JRT is on medication that must be given every day. They took the time to make sure that he had enough medicine and also the name of the vet in case he needed any additional medicine while we were arranging the paper work. After our departure, we were literally two weeks with out communications, when we got our internet finally hooked up the first email we received was from Carly and Debbie with pictures of the dogs and email updates on their conditions. The dogs stayed with Beau Monde for about a month before we were able to get the paperwork sorted out. When we were about to ship the shipper informed us that one of the kennels was "by regulation" the right size but they were not comfortable and wanted a bigger kennel for one of the dogs. Mike went out of his way to arrange another kennel and handled picking it up and talking to the shipper to verify that it was the right size. Beau Monde also has an alliance with a vet that was able to do the final travel health certificate before there departure. Again this was all arranged by them. The dogs were delivered to the airport and Mike actually waited until he was sure they were on the plane prior to his departing for home.My message is that the team at Beau Monde went over and above our expectations. They really care about the animals in their charge and truly love their jobs. They have a way of making you feel welcomed and comfortable and consider your pets as their own while they are in their care. The kennels are spotlessly clean and they have been doing this for a long time. When we return to the US this will be the only place we will ever board our dogs. We truly cannot say THANK YOU enough. We were very fortunate to find Beau Monde and even more fortunate to have them care for our two JRT's in our transition. In all honesty when our dogs finally arrived the looked in better health and condition than when we left then in the US. Beau Monde is the only place I will board my special needs dog. Mike and his family and staff are the most wonderful people. I can enjoy my time away knowing that my dog is well taken care of and her medicines are administered correctly.

I have used Beau Monde Kennels since the late 80's. They have taken care of my dogs over the years as well as my cats. I never lose a minutes sleep when they are in Mike's hands!Special diets? Medications? no problem and I know they are getting treated the way I want them treated.It is nice to know that Mike is there 24/7 and has been forever. I hope he never retires!!!!!

We have been boarding out dogs here for over 12 years. Our dogs are special to us and we are picky where we board our dogs. The people here are dog people and our dogs get excited when they see them. They have access to indoor and outdoor kennels, various play areas, and our Malamute loves the fact they have a plastic kiddie pool just like hers. Our dogs come home happy and healthy. The staff is friendly, are interested in your dogs history, and make sure your dogs are safe. I highly recommend this kennel.
