I called several offices w/ designated civil surgeons in order to save some bucks.I chose Western Wake Medical Center because per the lady I spoke to,the medical exam/Lab tests/vaccinations is only $450 & that is already the max cost which can be reduced if the blood results will show that Dad already has the other vaccines.I called them again in the AM of Oct 5,2016 to reconfirm the cost.I was told the same info: lab tests/medical exam & vaccinations is $450 & will be reduced if the result of the blood tests show that my Dad has the other vaccines. When I was about to do my payment,I asked the receptionist how I will get refunded if the blood results show that my Dad already has MMR.She said to only pay $300.The $150 will be paid on Oct 7,if ever my Dad needs the MMR.My husband & Dad went back on Oct 7.They were told that my Dad needed the MMR & they didn't have the MMR available. They said to go to CVS or Walgreens to get the MMR.After getting the MMR,they went back to Western Wake Internal Medicine to show that the MMR was given. My Dad was then asked by that lady to pay $150.My husband spoke to that lady & the Doctor why pay $150 when they didn't give my Dad MMR.They told my husband that the $150 was the Doctor's fee.My husband told them that he will not argue with them about it & will let me see them instead.I came back on Oct 10th & asked the same lady who I spoke to on Oct 5th why I still had to pay $150 when they didn't give the MMR to my Dad.She told me that the $150 was the fee for the paper works.I complained about how their information was very deceiving and inconsistent. They told my husband that the $150 was the Doctor's fee. Then I was told that it was for the paper works.I also reminded her about the info i was told when called them in August & on Oct 5th that the $450 will cover the medical exam, lab tests & vaccinations. She told me to speak to the Doctor.I just told her that I will just make the payment & file a complaint & reviews on their services.
