We have been taking our two kitties to Dr. Jen for nearly 10 years. They received top notch care and wonderful attention from her and her staff through many checkups and through some tough health situations. What we especially appreciated was how Dr. Jen was so patient with us - explaining the situation each time and giving us a full rundown of our different options, allowing us to make educated choices about their care while still keeping mind that we had to pay for that care. She even landed one kitty a majorly discounted heart workup at NCSU vet school through a study when she (rightly) suspected he had heart disease. She's taken the time to do research just for us about my cat food questions and given us thoughtful answers. We've also really appreciated her mobile service. She helped us say goodbye to our second kitty yesterday in a caring respectful way, and we look forward to working with her again once we are ready for a new kitty. I hope those looking for a vet in the area will consider working with Dr. Jen regardless of any negative reviews they may come across. Everyone knows that those having a less positive experience are far more likely to write reviews of a business or service. Also, quite a number of negative reviews that have been popping up lately are from people who have never met Dr. Jen let alone work with her.

Be advised. This clinic is more concern with tacking on billable items than your pet's health. They are cold hearted, deliver very poor service and over charge. My sick kitty sat in a crate from 7:30 to 4:00pm with diarrhea before being briefly seen. Shame on this vet. $163 and took my sick kitty home.

You know you're in a special c...

You know you're in a special clinic the moment you walk through the door; you're greeted by the infirm, the forgotten, the cast-offs - all part of Dr. Eachus's formidable menagerie (I think she said 15 cats/dogs).

I knew I'd met a kindred spirit and fellow activist from the get-go. I can't sing the praises highly enough of this young lady and her fabulous staff. She conducts a low-cost immunization clinic on a regular basis, runs a mobile "visit-your-home" service, and is in the process of unveiling an innovative, utopian cat "hotel." She is an indefatigable warrior on behalf of animals, and as compassiopnate a person as you'll ever meet. I recommend this superb veterinarian and her caring staff to all fellow cat owners looking for an exceptional doctor.

Should be called ""CASH Clinic of Cary""

Very expensive and poor service. Way too much testing. Nickle and dime you for charges as other reviewers have said. Stay away. Will not come back. Ever.

Cat Clinic and Willie Rock!!!

I cannot honestly say enough great things about this place! My cat, Poe was having difficulties and Dr. Hodge solved his troubles in no time flat! The staff there is AMAZING! Always helpful and willing to take the time to listen about any concerns! I think the prices are very reasonable. I felt very confident leaving my baby Poe for a teeth cleaning and extraction knowing he was in very capable hands.

What house call??

Cat Clinic of Cary charges premium prices for not so premium services. House calls are set up for a certain time, but you better have half the day to wait to pay $50 extra dollars. Wouldn't recommend them.

Not good at grooming cats

We took our hair ball of a cat here to get him shaved because he was leaving enough hair around the house to make another cat. We just recently moved here within the last few months from Myrtle Beach. There we paid $60, which I thought was ridiculous, but I didn't want to shave him myself (on account of having tried once and not having a positive experience) so we sucked it up and had him shaved every few months. So, our cat really needed it and he was getting matted up so my wife made him an appointment. I dropped the cat off on the way to work and the charge was $97!!!!! I really didn't have time to take the cat back home, and he desperately needed the cut, so I went ahead and let him get cut there and planned to find somewhere else next time. I should say - the lady at the front desk was very, very nice. Anyhow, I had my dad pick up the cat because he has nothing better to do during the day and we were at work. When we got home we discovered that our cat was BUTCHERED. I have never seen a worse cut on any of God's creatures. The poor guy was shaved to the skin in some places and I'm surprised he wasn't bleeding. I can't speak to the quality of their vet services, but their cat grooming services are TERRIBLE and far, far overpriced.

Wonderful staff

I have been taking my cats to the Cat Clinic of Cary since 2004. We really appreciate the kind and supportive care the we receive. This was especially true during the last moments of our elderly cats passing. Their thoughtfullness at that time was deeply appreciated.
\nWe also appreciate the great boarding facility that they have for cats, we use it everytime we go on vacation.

Great place for Cats

If you want the best care for your cat(s) you need to use this place. Because they specialize in cats they have everything built and designed around them. So many Vets are more concentrated on dogs, which sometimes means that they lose focus. Not here. Nice staff and a 1st class facility.
