Our family lost our dear beloved friend, Sandy Girl, today. She was 16 years old and a beautiful golden retriever mix dog. She succumbed to severe arthritis, but otherwise perfectly healthy and alert. Life was getting to be a difficult struggle for her to move around, and her hind legs would collapse and she would fall. Here's to all of our faithful animal friends who keep us humans grounded and sane.

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I adopted a Lhasa Apso from these people a few months ago, only to find out that she has aggression issues that are not suitable with my home life. She doesn't like men or kids, and has bitten my niece, nephew, my boyfriend and myself (due to me trying to distract her from a family member that she hates.) I called them over a week ago to try to schedule an appointment to take my dog back and never heard back from them. I foolishly thought ""Well, they had no information on her when I adopted her, so now they'll have all the information they need to really find her the best home!"" Today, I took her in myself, told them the situation and they told me THEY WOULD NOT TAKE HER BACK BECAUSE SHE'S AGGRESSIVE. The contract I signed when I adopted her said that at any point I could take her back to them if it didn't work out!!! Not only did they refuse to take her, but the lady LITERALLY laughed at me when I told her she just needed to be in a place with a single female owner. ""With no men and no children? haha""
Not your typical depressing dog pound. This place makes you feel like the dogs are happy to be there. They seem to know they are loved by the staff and are awaiting their forever home. You can rest assured that you are adopting a healthy animal that is up to date on shots and already spayed/neutered. Please support them when looking for a pet.
