We decided this past summer to install a pool in our back yard. I then started to talk to different people and began to gather names of pool companies. I called them and made some appointments. I met with 4 different companies. They all had their sales pitches and took me to some of the pools they installed to show me what they can do. I asked them how they began and got their expereince and most of them said that they worked for Terry Pools at somepoint in time. So after the 4 meetings, I decided to call Terry Pools. Carl came out to my house and within the first 5 minutes of meeting him, I knew that he was the one who I wanted to build my pool. He knew more about pools and how to construct them than any of the other 4 companies combined. Most of the employees I met during the installation have worked for Carl for over 20 years. That says a lot about his company. They always responded to my calls and questions. They built an awesome pool. Their service guys are great. They even gave me their cell number and said to call them whenever I needed them. Amazing service. Interestingly enough, all of the other companies gave me a proposal yet none of them ever called me back to see what I decided. Not very professional of them. I am glad I met Carl and his team. I would strongly suggest you use Terry Pools for your pool project.

These people are the most knowlegeable about pools ever. They came to fix our spa and knew exactly what was wrong. They were very nice and very friendly. I wish we could have them build a swimming pool for us. They are the best.

We called Terry Pool on the 18th of May…
We called Terry Pool on the 18th of May in anticipation of having our pool opened by Memorial Day Weekend and a very special event we had planned for our family. Thinking to ourselves that almost two weeks ahead of time we could be worked in. The woman at Terry Pool said they could be out "next week" meaning anytime between the 23rd and 27th. After Monday and half of Tuesday went by we decided to call and check in and the woman said they would be out Thursday. Thursday and Friday come and go with no word from Terry Pools so we make a last ditch effort to call Saturday morning and check to see if they will ever make it out. The woman on the other end of the phone stated "if you can find another company to come out go ahead; we won't be out until next week". This is after repeated attempts (4-5) to call and try to get it figured out, and remind them that we still needed service. The thing that is really bothersome is that my family has had an account there for 20+ years and that is how a longtime customer is valued at Terry Pool. Very disheartening. I also found out that Terry Pools takes your filters upon closing the pool so you have to call them back the next year to open the pool. And that is why the woman said if we could find someone else go ahead, because she knew full well that we never could.
So, in conclusion, there are many other pool cleaning and maintenance companies out there that will do the right thing and at least offer some sort of help. If they just would have told us to come and get our own filters I could have done the work myself.
Lack of professionalism and courtesy for a customer that has been around for 20 + years. Try Advanced Water Wings or Imperial; took time out of there busy holiday weekend to talk to me and try and talk me through the process. But my plan came to a screeching halt once I realized that Terry Pool had TAKEN the filters. -
Very unprofessional
I have had 2 phone conversations with whomever answers the phones at Terry Pools. This person was confused, unsure of what they were doing and was extremely rude. After asking a few questions I was told that they were too busy with opening pools and did not even ask about what services they could provide. If I am going to spend a lot of money on a pool, it will be with a professional company and not a rinky-dink company who is only concerned with opening and closing pools.
