General Info:

Circle City Veterinary Specialy & Emergency Hospital is a locally owned referral hospital serving Central Indiana.

The American Veterinary Medical Association only recognizes Specialists as those veterinarians who have had advanced training through a Residency Program.  Programs consist of a minimum of three additional years of intense training under the guidance of a Board Certified Specialist and their respective Specialty College. Before veterinarians can use the term Specialist, they must also pass rigorous oral and written examinations. Once completed the status of Diplomate can be listed after their names.

Specialty medicine allows for advanced equipment and treatments that are often impractical in a general medicine.  Uncommon diseases, complicated surgeries, clinical trials, and the latest advances in medical care are all part of a specialty hospital's role in veterinary medicine.

We work closely with the family veterinarians in our community.  When the pet owner, general practioner, and the specialist work together, it provides the best options for care and treatment available.

Success! Thanks for posting your review of Circle City Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital. You’ve done the world some good today.

Do not use this Vet if you value your dogs life!! Took my dog in for surgery and she had enlarged lymph node. Before performing dental surgery, the surgeon had the oncologist pull an aspirate of the lymph node. I was told the node was "reactive" (i.e. not cancer) just so I would continue with the surgery and spend $$$. Without my knowledge the aspirate was sent to a pathologist and came back as Lymphoma (i.e. CANC... view more

Best Dr's & staff

I brought my St Bernard from ky. About a 2 hr ride. Worth every trip I made. My dog had days to weeks to live. I have a great local vet that got me in up there. My 2 Dr's were the best. I went there with the chance of them being able to help him. They were able to perform the surgery back in july. They had to remove a tumor from his mouth. He lost the top left half of his jaw. It's November now you would never no wha... view more

The excellence of care may only be surpassed by the level of compassion and professionalism shown by each member of the staff. All of them truly love animals! I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

Like you, I am HIGHLY disappointed with the service here. My sister took her dog in because he got hold of a toad. All the web sites say that toads are poisonous to dogs and that they should be taken to the vet immediately!!! She gets there (after explaining the situation to the woman on the phone and they say that she should bring him in immediately) and they say that there isnt anything that they can do, just ke... view more

Great, great experience

I was referred through our regular vet because she suspected our puppy had a fractured jaw. Even though the treatment was expensive, the peace of mind was worth every penny. The entire staff from reception to the nurse and the doctor were all amazing. They were kind, understanding and compassionate. If I ever need any type of specialty care for my pets, I would return in a heartbeat.

Bad Experience

The doctor used a treatment that actually made my pet worse off. He would not call me back when I sent him a letter with my concerns. A second doctor there actually told me to use the treatment that the first doctor said to discontinue. I wouldn't take a pet goldfish there again. I wish I could rate it 1 star.
