What a nightmare!!! Be careful!



We chose Associated Orthdontists in the first place in part because we were pre-approved with CareCredit and Associated Orthdontists confirmed that they accepted CareCredit and offered interest-free financing. After we paid, our first statement came with interest charge right away. Worst than that, the second statement was even more! We called CareCredit, they can not do anything, it up to the provider!

When we called to express surprise with Associated Orthdontists at the unexpected interest charge, there was no apology, no effort to reach an accommodation, and no apparent concern for customer satisfaction. We felt like we were being treated as if we were overdue debtors, not valued clients!

The person we spoke with was unsympathetic and said the terms were disclosed in the documentation we received when we signed authorizing the charges.

We explained we expected the documents to conform to my understanding based on the prior discussion, and did not think we had to review to make sure. We asked if there was anything that could be done, and the response was no. We said we was very disappointed, and explained we had another child who needed braces but based on this experience we would be looking for another orthodontist. The response was fine.

We wrote a letter to the doctor, she called back and reimburse the first interest, However, few days later, there is another interest charge 3 times more than the first time. I wrote a letter to doctor again but never heard back from her.

What a nightmare and making a big mistake to select this place since the first place. We can not change now because we already paid but suffered every month with interest until we can pay off.
