Casanova

What an amazing restaurant. We had wonderful food and service. When the rain dripped on us, they moved our table and gave us free dessert.

Misleading info on price range. This is a pricey, but very good restaurant. If you are looking for affordable family fare, this is not the place. If you are not concerned about budget, this is excellent choice. Scallops were divine! Lemon souffle lush! Has maintained quality over the years.

Casanova was always great to us. We've been to it 5 or 6 times already and never were disappointed. On occasion we would go to another place in Carmel and see a not so good remake of Casanova's dishes. I particularly like 1/2 bottles of wine you can actually finish between the two of you. French dishes are particularly good even when compared to what we had in France. Lamb and seafood casserole are my favorites. Read the menu carefully, they change how they prepare things time to time. If you just go by the title and expect to get the same thing you got last time, you may be disappointed.
