I had the calamari, really enjoyed it. Decent selection on tab. Friendly staff. Great, great place.

My mother and I wanted a light dinner, so we had Caesar salads and split the pan seared cod with cannelini beans. Both were fabulous. Service was prompt and pleasant.

I have visited Carmel sine the late 70'swhen this place was a little fish market. Without losing its owner operated ambience this has become my go to place for fresh seafood now withany additions to the menu. The even have a full bar now and it's dog friendly too. A MUST in Carmel. Try a Reuben at lunch it is the best this side of New York. They have pretty much honed the menu to perfectin and even offer vegetarian and gluten free items. No more excuses not to go out!

Best seafood I have had on the West Coast. The wharves are all too "touristy" for my taste in SF and in Monterey. Monterey has a "barker' ( and I don't mean a seal...)at every entrance now...Too bad. This place is the real deal with fresh dishes and daily menu changes as the catch changes. Reminds me of old school restaurants I enjoyed years ago. Unhurried, friendly, family owned kind of place. This is one of those places that seems to have held its own for decades. Friendly staff and now they have added a full bar since the last time I was there. Its our favorite stop when we visit Carmel from the Valley. The home made berry pie is to die for. Leave room!
