La Costa Urgent Care & Family Practice

I have been trying for over 6 weeks to get the office staff to fix dr Gregory Wakeman mistakes on my husbands prescriptions. Office staff is rude and lied to me about the health advocate that is trying to help me. Worst experience in a very long time. He only needs his proair to breath.

I went to La Costa Urgent Care yesterday morning on President's Day. It was super busy, but the staff was very nice and the doctor was very kind and helpful even though there were tons of people. Thanks for the great service even on a busy day! Oh, and when I stopped by in the afternoon to pick up an extra prescription for my cough, I noticed it wasn't nearly as busy. So, go by in the afternoon for a much shorter wait! The nurses said it generally slows down around 2pm.

I went to La Costa Urgent Care yesterday morning and had a great experience there! The doctor was very nice and the staff seemed really friendly and helpful. Was seen and my antibiotics prescription called in within about an hour total! Definitely would go back.

Went on a Sat early afternoon. Was in and out in 30 mins! Nice staff, good doctor, and no problem with insurance. Will def go back.

La Costa Urgent Care and Family Practice is my regular doctor's office. I can go any day of the week without an appointment. On average, it takes under an hour to be seen. Dr. Wakeman is very kind and helpful. Friendly staff and clean office.

I have tried to get in to this clinic twice and gave up. One time I got there right when it was opening only

to discover the wait was already 2 1/2-3 hours. Another time my husband went there with an appt to have

some pre-op blood work done. He finally saw the nurse to have his blood drawn 90 minutes later. The problem

is I don't know of another Urgent Care in the area with weekend hours.

I'm here visiting family in Carlsbad and needed to go to an Urgent care for a in grown toe nail. La Costa Urgent Care was the closest one and I walked in and had a very unpleasant visit. The staff was horrible giving me problems with my insurance because I was out of town. I believe her name was Margarite, she was extremely rude to me and will never go back if I needed to. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.
