Hillmount Animal Hospital

PLEASE do not take your animals here! I took my cat in to be spayed but did not know she was already pregnant. They didn't call me to say she was pregnant until after they had performed the spay and killed the kittens. I am so upset! It is unethical and unprofessional.

I had taken in a stray cat and brought it to Hillmount for shots and neutering. They checked for microchipping, found a chip, called the alleged owner and gave him the cat - all without a single word to me. They only informed me after it was all done.



Regardless of the ownership dispute (and I had been caring for this cat for months), I was the one who brought the cat in to them, I was the one who authorized and agreed to pay for treatment, and I was the one with a client relationship with this vet - they should have at least done me the courtesy of telling me what they were planning to do before they did it.



Makes me wonder what they have done to my dog and my other cat without my knowledge or consent...

Have been taking my cats here for several years. Very friendly and caring staff. This last visit my cat had been in really bad shape for several days. The doctor narrowed it down to a blockage that had culminated in some pretty severe kidney problems. They treated him but weren't sure of the prognosis. He bounced back 100% in the following few days! It wasn't super cheap, but we're happy that they were able to fix him up!

The vet is very compassionate and is great as well as the staff. Our dog ran loose and the whole staff went after him. ( He was only loose because it was my fault.) I would highly recommend Hillmount to anyone!

We got a new french bulldog last fall and took him to Hillmount Animal Hospital at the suggestion of a friend. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences there, from the front desk staff to the veterinary staff (Dr. Bowers and Dr. Henry). Our puppy developed severe food allergies a couple of months after we got him, and Dr. Bowers was very helpful in figuring out what the root cause was as well as figuring out a solution to the problem. He laid all of our treatment options out for us, explaining everything thoroughly and patiently, and I trusted that he had my dog's best interest in mind. We have since taken him back for all of his annual shots, neutering surgery, and several boarding stays, and all have been great experiences. I would send any of my friends to Hillmount in a heartbeat.
