Best Buy

Not being electronics literate, we had need of help with our DVD, DVR, TV group. Our grand daughters had "modified" the group and we were unable to "de-modify" it. We checked around and found that few people willing to tackle this task. We called the Geek Squad at Best Buy in Cape Girardeau. They were extremely helpful and set up an appointment for a team. The team was prompt, called ahead, and were very careful to put "booties" on before coming in the house. The lead technician was Stefon Gant. He was very knowledgeable and seemed to know immediately what had to be done to restore the group. He suggested that he could make the group easier for us to work and listed the parts he had to have to make it so. He made an appointment to return. He was prompt, called ahead, and was accompanied by his supervisor. He completed the task and labeled the functional parts of the group. We were certainly impressed with him.. We asked Mr. Gant to do the same thing at our second home. Again he made an appointment, was prompt and careful about the cleanliness of our home. He did an outstanding job.
We have no hesitation about recommending the Geek Sqaud from Best Buy in Cape. We mentioned the Geek Squad to a neighbor up the hill. He had the Geek Squad take care of a TV problem for him and was completely satisfied. Thank you Geek Squad.

I was having some problems with my hp pav dv8000 video card i called the geek squad, one of the girls that works there was kind of snippy. she proceeded to tell me that particular model is difficult to work on the video cards are expensive and it was going to cost $500.00 - $600.00 to fix it and its not really worth it and best buy doesnt keep those cards in stock. well i took the board out i went to best buy there were several video cards to choose from. there was even one on sale for 99.99 that was 199.99. geek squad either doesnt like helping customers and tells em lies or just dont know what they are doing

I thought i recieved excellent care from all the staff at best buy
