I've been going to Szechuan Canton probably at least once a month for 20 years. NEVER once had a bad experience. Their Hot and Sour Soup is the best I've had anywhere. I can't begin to understand some of the negative reviews, unless they're from competitors who wish they had food this good. Be careful ordering full strength, unless you like it spicy. The Lunch menu is fairly extensive, and moderately priced.

I have been here several times and its never dissapointing. The food is awesome and prices are affordable. The service is so/so but the service reminds me of what you would expect in ""china town"" in a big city so Im okay with that. There arent many good authentic chinese rest. that you can find in metro Detroit where the food is always consistant and tasty...a must have!!!

I have been going to this restaurant for several years and was very disappointed today when a cockroach ran across my table. When I told the waiter he said ""It happens all the time when it rains"" and pointed to the hole in the ceiling. I was sitting at the table on your left when you walk in.
If cockroaches are normal during the middle of the day, I hate to think what happens in the kitchen when this place is closed.
It is off my list
My daughter and I ate here when we were at Ikea shopping. We were hungry and just drove down the road and found this. It was crowded and we thought it would be a good choice. Frankly it wasn't. It's hard to screw up Chinese food, but they did. My daughter's chicken dish was greasy, and my sweet and sour was dull. The soup was even bland and tasted like it came from a can. Maybe it was an off day or a new chef, but I won't be back to find out.
