I usually don't ever think to write reviews but ever since I moved two months ago, I've been reading nothing BUT reviews to familiarize myself with new places before I go.
I use to live at home with our own washer and dryer so this was actually my first laundromat experience.
Let me start off with the fact that - I didn't read instructions because I thought to myself "it's an oversized laundry machine, how hard can this be??"
Well one machine was a little off and accepted money before you shut the door. (It's not suppose to take money until after). Sooooo needless to say, I lost 5.75 in quarters to that machine and it wouldn't even come out when I tried to hit the refund button thing.
At first I said, screw it. It's still way cheaper than doing a $3 EXTRA small load at my apartment complex. (Drying is .25 per 6 min)
I loaded up three machines and after that I noticed a refund desk where we could fill out a form and they'd review tapes.
Well! I filled one out and a week later I received a $6 refund from the owners.
My experience was pleasant overall, even though I did initially lose my money in the beginning. But the machines were great and the people there were EXTREMELY nice and helpful as I was a newbie.
This was just a one time stop before I had to run an errand in Canton. If I didn't live all the way in South Lyon I'd go there to do all my laundry.
