Crystal Creek Assisted Living

My Mother is currently living here but not for long I advised others to do the same. My Mother has dementia as it is and every time I go to visit her there are always new employees who I am not familiar with. My Mother still mentions one caregiver who she loved unfortunately she no longer works there and after hearing the caregivers story she has told me I am returning the favor and taking my mother out of this facility. The rent also keeps going up and all supervisors should be drug tested. One supervisor I smell drugs on them as she walks past me. They are understaffed and claim they do activities but never do. My Mother has been here for a year I already had complaints as it is my mother and other residents as well are leaving this facility

I moved my mom into Crystal Creek after I was referred to them by the nursing home social worker. I was nervous at first, but things have gone smoothly. Staff has gone out of their way to make my mom feel welcome. From the ice cream sundaes, to the arts and crafts and care she receives, my mom has improved so much from when she was in the nursing home. I was not looking forward to mother's day this year, but when I arrived and met mom with her hair curled, flower in her hair and her Sunday best dress, I realized my mom had found her new home, and I could go back to being her son and not her caregiver.

My aunt has been at this facility for over a year. My family and I are very happy with the care she receives, and the support from the nurse and care staff. The facility has undergone renovation since the new owner came, and many amenities have been added. Overall our family is very pleased and my aunt is happy as well.

My mother was a patient at crystal creek , for several years. The last year before her death was horrible, especially since it has been under new ownership. The place was so unorganized , there was no obvious leadership of the faciltity. No one ever knew what was going on .My mother received pretty good care from most of the aides and treated her like family , which was nice. At the same time it seemed as the staff was expected to do so much many of things a nurse should have been doing ,including wound care. There are even patients on feeding tubes that the aides provide care for! The aides do not have enough time to give the residents the adequate attention they deserve. The new nurse on staff at the facility is not friendly , there is no communication , and she even dresses unprofessional . I regret keeping my mother in this facility . The Patients and staff deserve more.
