Anyone looking for a great place to get a quality coffee drink or a tasty (and healthy!) deli sandwich or salad, look no further than Daydream Cafe. I tried it out for the first time today, and I will definitely be back. Friendly service, nice & clean interior, and a really wonderful selection of sandwiches and drinks (they even have pierogi!!). They make the sandwiches there, with a variety of breads, cheeses, and dressings. They also have a selection of treats, bakery items, and bottled beverages (water, juice, etc). This is the perfect place to stop by on a lunch break or a weekend afternoon, and they even have a drive thru, which is very convenient. I had a smoked turkey and muenster sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and spicy mustard on an onion roll, and it was superb. Their sandwiches come with an optional side of chips, coleslaw, or applesauce. I also had a 20oz. iced sugar daddy latte (more commonly known as a snickers latte) which was also excellent. They know what they're doing, and you can tell that they also care about what they are doing, which goes a long way in customer service in my opinion. I really cannot say enough about this place. There really aren't enough spots like this around, and I really hope they are open for years and years to come. I think that anybody who walks through the door can find something that would make them a regular Daydream Cafe customer, I know I did. I highly recommend this place to coffee lovers or anybody looking for a healthy lunch alternative! Try it out! :)
This place is great for the kids, its clean, and the staff is awesome. Beverages are delicious and the food is pricey. The only reason it got a low rating is because the kind of people it is attracting. I took my daughter there to play and a woman didn't like where I was sitting so she actually SAT ON ME and then threatened to take me outside if i didnt move from her spot (mind you there was nothing indicating that it was her spot in the first place) At a childrens establishment?! I'm sorry, I didn't know I somehow ended up in Inkster. Needless to say, I got my money back and havent been back since. If the parent is going to act like that, could you imagine what her children are like? I don't want my kids playing with people like that! Its a shame, I used to go in there at least twice a week and buy food, snacks, and drinks. I now drive out to Farmington Hills.
This new little cafe is tucked away in the Total Plaza on Ford Rd. All the food is home made, and just delicious. I had never really eaten middle eastern food - until I tasted it here - and this food is great. It is a small family run cafe, all the food is made on sight. It is fresh, colorful, tasty and filling. Eat in or carry out - you've got a great lunch or dinner! Prices are right too! And - you have to have the baklava. Usually I find this dessert to be too sweet and soggy - here it is terrific - and is made by the owner. Give it all a try - you won't be disappointed!
