Our fish department boasts a broad selection of fresh water fish with a large selection of African Cichlids

General Info

This business was established in 1965 by Bart and Brenda Fenolio (brother and sister). Bart started with an aquarium while in college and Brenda's interest in it grew to 40 tanks by the time she reached college. Their education was business management and biological science, respectively.

Dolphin Pet Village started as a fish only store and expanded into pets of all types in 1970 in Kirkwood Plaza. In 1980 Brenda took over the entire operation while Bart went on to open a maintenance and custom set up company (check out the Cupertino Library aquarium). Many changes have transpired over the years including two moves with the last one in February 2007 back home to Kirkwood Plaza where we have had the privilege of three generations of Kirkorian landlords.

Currently Dolphin Pet Village is happy to serve you with two generations including Brenda Fenolio Albrecht and son Tyler Albrecht. Tyler's education is in Enology (his wine is fabulous), but his heart and soul are in fis h. Funny how growing up in a pet store might do that!

We are fortunate to have a wonderful, knowledgeable staff who knows that educating you is so important in guiding you to have the correct environment for your pet or fish. We are also committed to expanding your education to include original habitats of livestock so that you will join the task of preservation.

Huge selection.

Huge selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. All the fish look healthy and happy.
