Left Los Angeles, California in a motor home with a chassis battery that was getting weak, so as to not take a charge and not able to start the engine without the booster switch of the cabin battery. Also noticed a burned out drivers side low beam head light lamp...took off to Camp Verde, Arizona to visit family, any way.
After reaching the Camp Verde - Cottonwood area in Arizona decided to replace both defective parts, before the motor home gave me any more trouble. Pulled into the "Hefer" Hansen Enterprises Fleet Repair garage. 1st impression, nice large building with at least 3 service bays and lots of parking area.
Owner, David Whitmayer greeted me in the office and listened to my motor home complaints. He took me into one of his service bays ( the other two service bays had vehicles being repaired ) and immediately checked out the condition of the alternator and battery. Battery needed replacement, but because it was a specialty battery on my Sprinter chassis motor home, he did not have one in stock. He had many other batteries, for cars and trucks. 1st warehouse he checked with did not have it in stock, 2nd warehouse had a replacement battery to us in 20 minutes. Great service ! He replaced the defective battery and burned out light bulb, inside of one hour and a half, he had me on the road again. Prices were reasonable.
He had a nice waiting area with free coffee, pretzels and pistachio nuts. If I am in the area in need of motor home repairs, I would use him again. Thanks Daviid for getting us back on the road again in such a fast time.
