I am shocked that this company was awarded 5 star reviews. Based on my experience I would give it less than 1 star. I was attracted by the high rating to enter my order for granite counter tops. Mr Gonzales received my down payment in April 2015 and failed to deliver as agreed. The order was canceled at the end of May promising to refund my payment. He disappeared since early October. Mail to his above stated address is returned undelivered. He does not answer his cell phone, nor the listed office phone. His fax number listed above is not in service. His office is always closed. The listed website is closed. If anyone has any additional relevant info about this company, its business registration, license number, etc, kindly post it on this page.
I hereby warn all potential customers to be careful and check this company credentials before loosing your funds forever.

I am from the Cambridge area and first I would like to say that I do not think our local small businesses get enough support. Empire is a small family run business that has been part of Somerville for more than 10 years now.

I heard about Empire through friends and decided to take my layout to get a quote, needless to say Jose has the best and most competitive prices around. I signed a contract and set up my template right away, no hassles quick and easy.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. My galley kitchen looks absolutely amazing and aside from being very professional Jose was very friendly and welcoming. I will be sending anyone who wants or needs granite or marble to Empire.

My husband and I contratced Empire for both our cabinets and our granite. The cabinets (from JSI) were delivered in 3 weeks instead of 2, however, the price was 2 times cheaper than the other 2 places we went to before visiting Jose. Everything came as ordered. Shortly after, our Supreme White countertop was installed without delay. Jose's installers are meticulous and the seam was almost flawless. We are more than pleased and will be recommending Empire to our families and friends.

I recently used Empire to do my kitchen countertop and bathroon vanity and I was very pleased with the finished product. The consultation was quick and easy, I was scheduled for template right away and a week later I had my countertops in. At firs,t I was nervous and fearful of the details of the fabrication and if things would come out exactly the way I wanted, but Jose walked me through everything and assured me that I would get exactly what I paid for and I did. Jose was very friendly and extremely reasonable with his prices, I would definitely use Empire again.

I recently used Empire to do 6 units for me and they did an outstanding job. Jose has the best prices around, he's straight forward and very friendly. His installers did an excellent job and I will definitely be using Empire again.
