On a snowmobiling vacation in Cadillac, had a sled break on the trail, went out to pick it up with the truck and the truck gets stuck........ can it get any worse?? Yes it can! Blew a brake line on the truck and we are nine hours from home and need to pull a trailer all the way back to NY. Made a call to Canfield Auto Company and they were amazing!! They got our truck in and given our situation gave it top priority putting multiple mechanics on it and got it fixed extremely fast! They were unbelievably helpfull from offering a loaner vehicle, to keeping the repair bill to a minimum. I cannot say enough good things about this company!!! If it were possible to rate above 5 stars I would! Great people, superb mechanics!!
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Bought a 2010 Traverse and it was detailed GREAT as was all the cars on the used car lot. Was surprised as a 40 year old couple with a GREAT trade in had to have a ride along, and was a little surprised they did not fill the take up with gas when we left. We got the additional warrenty (GOOD THING) as within the1st month we had to take it to another dealership to have $1400 in work done to the front end. Aside from that great experience. Very clean well maintained dealership. GREAT prices on their cars as we did a LOT of looking, and they got us to drive over 2 hours to buy from them. If you are looking for a good car or truck. You need to go to Car City in cadillac and talk to Kraig. He will walk you through all the steps so you understand what you are buying and what all the paperwork really means. He took good care of me and talked to me as the most important person in the room. If i did not find a car i liked he would of had one i was looking for brought to the store for me to try next day. Now that is what i call service. Two days ago my check engine light came on and i called him. He found me a garage to take it to and got it fixed in on time. I will be buying another car for him in the futuer.
I asked the owners of Canfield Auto about the bad review because I have bought vehicles from them for over 22 years. This customer was a relatively new customer. Mr. Marshalls boyfriend had a pay history issue with the Canfield's and they would no longer extend credit. He came in after hours and took his vehicle with the extra set of keys. The canfields were nice enough to return their keys but neither would show their face so they send a third party. To slander a business that has extended credit and picked up your vehicle for service is pathetic.
I had some issues with my car the crew that use to work there were terrible with customer service... Thankfully they got rid of them and have since hired Derek Sorensen. Derek was very polite and prompt in handling my issues with my car, he listened to my concerns and acted accordingly, he kept me in the loop while my car was being worked on, and even went the extra mile to clean my car and rims which have never looked better. Thank you Derek and Car City you came through when I was in need.
Brought in the old whoopdie to have the brakes replaced, of course they recommended that the rotors be replaced as well. I think they thought we sounded suspicious so they offered to show them to us, and they did! These guys are fast and efficient and offer a decent price compared to others. For some reason, I always feel like I'm getting cheated when I go to a mechanic, these guys make you feel less so. That's cool.
I really liked the courtesy and friendly people, the supply of cars available too. Must of all how quick they were to fix any problems I found with the car I bought, AND to top it off a FREE rental while my car was in getting checked over!! I tell everyone that I talk to about Car City in Cadillac. I am also pleased at how quickly it took to get approved for a car. I will always trust Car City from my next vehicle
We had a problem with our newly purchased van... it wasnt our fault and it wasnt Car City's fault... We talked with Derek numerous times getting it set to be fixed. While being fixed, they gave us a loaner to use. They got it fixed quickly and efficiently and everything to our satisfaction. I left in a positive mood and feel good about our choice to do business with Car City.
