It was OK...The food was pretty good and the service was decent. However---BEWARE of the side items. I ordered a side of hush puppies for $1.49. When my food came out, there was only one hush puppy on my plate. After asking the waitress about it, she explained that she must have dropped one of them, and she would bring out another one. Approximately 15-20 minutes later, she brought out one burnt hush puppy. I couldn't eat it, it was so black and hard. I pointed this out to the waitress, and she said "Oh, I'm sorry it was too done for you!" When I received my bill, there was the charge of $1.49 for one edible hush puppy. I think that price is outrageous for two hush puppies to begin with, but especially when one is not even edible. I do not expect to recommend or return to this restaurant.
Food is good & prices are fair compared with other Resturants. Main thing is they all need to get organized. There are some things that should be standard on the table before you sit down. Complete set of silverware, spoon, fork & knife; cream & all sugars on table. 1 person should only work your table, not 2 or 3, 1 getting this, & another one getting something else for you. They are all very nice & helpful just unorganized.
The diner is very good. Low keyed, down to earth, & friendly. On this Yellow pages website the menu & prices listed for the diner is totally incorrect. I been there many times & the prices are a lot lower than what the menu says. That menu is for "the diner" out east in the USA.
