Business Description
In 1883, Barney Kroger, with only $372, opened a grocery store in downtown Cincinnati. More than 120 years later, as the supermarket business has evolved into a variety of formats aimed at satisfying the ever-changing needs of shoppers, Kroger has grown to over 2,500 stores in 31 states under two-dozen banners and annual sales of more than $66 billion. Today, Kroger ranks as one of the nation s largest retailers. Kroger has pioneered many innovations in the supermarket industry. During the 1930s, it was the first grocery chain to monitor product quality and test foods. In 1972, Kroger became the first grocery retailer in America to test an electronic scanner. It was installed in a store in suburban Cincinnati. Technology plays an important role in Kroger s store operations, with more than 1,600 Kroger stores offering self-checkout. Kroger spans many states with store formats that include grocery and multidepartment stores, convenience stores and mall jewelry stores. Among the brands it operates are Fred Meyer, Ralphs, Fry s, Baker s, Food4Less, KwikStop and Tom Thumb. Kroger is headquartered in Cincinnati, and maintains a store in Byram, Miss.

They have a black rectangle metal table with six chairs that has had a ticket on it for $349.00. For Father's day and it was marked down to $319.00 Then back to $349.00. I called a little while ago and I was told yes, they are now 40% off. My husband and I went in the truck and van as we were going to buy one. We get there and they have changed the signs. The price is now $359.00 but only $10 difference. I went in to get help and the customer service says that is the price with 40% off and those prices tags were put on yesterday. Then two customer service ladies that were so rude called Mr. Simms who knew nothing about the sale or prices. He kept asking the rude lady who said those prices were put on yesterday and scan the date. I told. R. Simms that they must have been but the other tag said $349.00. Those new price tags had in small print, original price was $600. Plus!! So we left. PLEASE beware when dealing with KROGER in BYRAM!!! It's a shame how deceiving people can be.

Love shopping at kroger in Byram

Love to come to kroger and shop. They have the freshest vegetables i have ever seen in any grocery store.
