The Imagery

Rod and Steph are amazing! Steph keeps everything running smoothly while Rod uses his expertise to create fabulous photos that will be long cherished memories. The Imagery offers an amazing photo studio both inside and outside, which provides a wide variety of backgrounds. Anything from waterfalls, to an old car, to a 50's diner - they have a ton a background choices. Rod and Steph listen to what you are looking for, if you have an idea or specific picture you want - Rod will make sure it happens! You can feel their passion for photograph and your experience will be a blast!

I had the wonderful experience of doing a photoshoot in their "backyard" space, though that word cannot contain it. It is a wonderland of flowers and set pieces. Even the bees were friendly. The direction I was given is what really made the experience, though. I'm not really comfortable in front of the camera, but they made me feel like a pro. Thank you!

Meeting with Rod and Stephanie to take our pictures for our 30th wedding anniversary was a wonderful experience. They made us feel so comfortable, as if we had known them for a long time. Sharing special moments with others helps to keep us grounded in our beliefs, dreams and goals. Capturing the essence of a lifetime of experiences takes an expert, such as Rod and Stephanie! We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with The Imagery and the staff. We had family pictures taken 5 years ago, just had our kids senior pictures done and will be updating our family pictures in the next week. They are great to work with, come up with creative ideas and for a family who doesn't really like being in pictures they always give us a wonderful end product. We would never go anywhere else!

I made an appointment with Rod Oman at the Imagery Photography in Burnsville and waited a couple of weeks so he could show me some specific samples of his work. I left a message to confirm the appointment yesterday during business hours but did not receive a reply. The morning of the 5 PM appointment I called again. Ron finally returned the call about 3 PM confirming the appointment. Ron mentioned that he did not have the specific samples of his work to show me. The only reason that I made the appointment was so that I could see these samples that he told me that he had. When I asked why he did not have them, he was rude stating "This was not a priority for me. I had to dig through too many files." Additionally he went on say "Either you take my word that I can do the work or not." His rudeness, slow response to my calls and failure to provide the samples as promised shows that you can not count on his word. I felt that I needed to take my business elsewhere. I wished that I had read other similar reviews about Rod Oman before I contacted him.

The male owner was very rude to me because I had to cancel due to my finance being called into work at the last minute. I called at least 4 hours ahead of time, and when I called to reschedule, he immediately said, "Oh, you were the one who cancelled on us last weekend!" He then made a rude comment that he wished he didn't have to come into work if something similar happened. He then made me pay a $50 deposit since I had to cancel last time and bluntly said I wouldn't get it back if I didn't show up again. He said he had to "pay people to come in" for photo shoots, but his business is inside his home, and yet he was the only one there? He rushed us through our shoot, and didn't even know our names and we said it was an engagement photo but referred to my finance as my husband. He was very short with us, and I didn't appreciate his treatment towards us at all! When I called to get a status update on the photos, I spoke to a woman (assuming his wife), and she advised me the photos were ready.I told her nobody called us to let us know, and she rudely stated, "I didn't call you yet." I would never recommend them to anyone since they treat their customers rudely and are not customer service oriented!!
