Lamar Blade and Edge

I have this vintage Japanese hobo/camping knife that was is pretty bad shape. The bail was broken, some pins were bent, it was rusty, parts didn't lock into place, and when opened I could look through the knife in spots. I live in New York and took a chance on Mr. Lamar and sent it to him. When I received the box and opened in, the first words out of my mouth was "WOW"!! My knife looked brand new. It was shinny, everything locked tightly in place, and all broken parts fixed. I showed it to my friend and he was amazed at how it came out. He said he would send any knife of his to be repaired without question and he's a very particular person. The craftsmanship was first rate. I couldn't be more pleased. I can't wait to go camping to use it.

Robert did an amazing job. He sharpened my hair cutting shears for a great price. He will be the only one to handle my shears from now on.

Tried to sharpen my hunting knife and botched it. Robert restored the edge of my knife perfectly. He is very friendly and takes pride in his work.
