The service department is terrible. My husband's spare key had been stolen, so he called to order a new set of keys and to schedule when the car could be reprogrammed. They refused to even order the replacement key until one of us came to the dealership with our registration to prove we owned the car, so I agreed to do this on my lunch break. I showed up, handed them the registration and my license and was asked to wait in the service waiting room while they verified it and wrote up the sale. Over forty-five minutes later I was still siting there. No one even came to say a word to me. Finally, as I was VERY late getting back to work, I went and found someone in the work bay. Their excuse for the wait was that "the guy" who could verify my ownership and write up an order for a part was on the phone. Seroiusly - I was there for an hour just so someone could check my drivers license against my registration. I had to return the next day to actually have the part installed. They assured me it would only take 30 minutes...but it was over an hour later before they were done. Both days while I was sitting in the waiting room I talked to the numerous other customers sitting there. More than one told me that was standard for Crenshaw and that they couldn't wait to get new (non-Hyundai) cars so they wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. I had been talking to a saleman about buying a new Santa Fe for myself and an Equus for my father, but that won't be happening now. It's great that they're plenty friendly when you're looking to buy, but their rude and useless service department is short-sighted, as they are losing what would be repeat customers.

The team at Crenshaw Hyundai was very good about working within our budget. I didn't feel like they tried to just sell us a car, but tried to get us something we could afford and liked. Thank You Mark and The Crenshaw Hyundai Team

CRENSHAW HYUNDAI'S SALES EXPERINCE WAS GREAT AND WE THANK THEM FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE AND FINDING THE EXACT CAR WE WANTED. WHEN WE WERE TOLD BY OTHER DEALERSHIPS IT WAS NOT OUT THERE. EVERYONE WAS VERY FRIENDLY WILL DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH CRENSHAW HYUNDAI

Great experience

The people at Crenshaw Hyundai are great. They really did "put us first" They really did treat us with respect and kindness. Tasha The Wheaton Terrier mascot is so cute and friendly. Pricing was very competitive. We like Greg in the service department. The entire buying experience was great. Check out the web site for testimomals for a true picture of the experience.

TERRIBLE-TERRIBLE-TERRIBLE

I took my car in for service twice for the same problem. The problem was not fixed either time. I also took it in for a service on another occasion and they forgot to do part of the service that I paid for. They did offer to do the forgotten job if I'd bring it back in but it should have been done the first time so I took it elsewhere and paid again to have it done correctly.



I tried to purchase a new vehicle and the person who offered the trade in allowance on my vehicle was arrogant, condescending and wouldn't shut up. The sales associate was friendly and helpful to his credit though. I got a much better deal and more than double the trade in allowance (2 & 1/2 times more actually) offered on my vehicle in Greensboro. I would not recommend Crenshaw Hyundai to anyone for service or if purchasing. It is worth the ride to Greensboro if you are considering either. It will save you lots of money and you will be treated with respect, not insulting offers from a very rude and insulting person.



My experience with Crenshaw matches my worst experience trying to purchase a vehicle and or service anywhere that I have ever tried.

the new hyundais are unreal they are so nice and fast. worth about 10-15,000 and no more though. the people here are not pushy but do want to sell you a car of course. pretty nice cars here

Terrible after-sale service

I recently bought a Hyundai from Crenshaw Hyundai for my parents. At the time the salesman was nice and I left feeling good. However, a week later my mother noticed a chopping sound coming from the tires, and so she returned to the dealership and was told that she had to buy 2 new tires, and they would not help because she had already driven the car off the lot. She went to a different tire store and they said the tires were worn, and never alligned, so she bought 2 new tires for $300.

I discovered this and called Crenshaw Hyundai to complain, and they said that all they could offer were another 2 tires at cost (a $30 savings, compared to what she paid), and a few oil changes. After much negotiating they said they could throw in 2 tire rotations, and a front-end allignment.

Are they kidding!
