Don't not use Morris Heating and Cooling

Horrible service. High rates, would not even come down on rates. $80 just to drive to house and $125 an hour. Contractor took his time trying to rack up hourly rate, then tried to say that my sensor in my compressor was bad and waned close to $500 to fix even thought it was under warranty. Do not trust them and would not recomend them to anyone. Had to pay $200 and I don't think the contractor did anything!

We have been customers of Morris for nearly 14 years and have never had less than excellent service. Saturday evening, our A/C stopped working. Monday morning I called Morris. They told me exactly how much the service call would be and how much they charged per hour and that they had me scheduled for noon the same day. If you are like me and will settle for nothing less than a trustworthy and competent heating and cooling company, then Morris Heating and Cooling is the right choice. My experience from my initial request to the follow-up has been very positive. I woulld like to say that Morris Heating & Cooling (Steven) did a Excellent job, repairing my furnace! Also Thank You Larry for trying to help me over the phone in trying to save me a service charge. You really took me by surprise when you said to put you on hold so that I can try changing out the filter first to see if that was the problem. I was reading the reviews below and cannot believe what I was reading. I had a 12 year old system that had a bad coil. Larry and his staff advised me that putting the amount of money into that old of a system was not a wise idea. 1/18/12. I had Morris Heating and Cooling out to look at my furnace. Per a different service provider, I was expecting to need a replacement on my 12 year old system. I am sorry but this larry guy has absolutely no clue how to be a professional and he needs to leave customer service to those who are ultimate in every way and will bend over backwards to make things pleasant for the customer. To all others who may read this, "You can't please everybody!". We run approximately thirty service calls a day and this is the only negative review we've received in 20 years of business. You can tell by the language that this is an unreasonable customer. Do Not Let Morris Fix Your Air Conditioner!!!!!

Long story, short this company came out to fix by air conditioner 3 times in the course of a week. They changed me over $300 on the first 2 "repairs" and wanted an estimated $500 on the 3rd "repair". There is no validity to any of the statements contained in the comment posted by Adrian Dabbs. She also filed a complaint with the BBB and after their invetigation it was determined that Morris Heating And Cooling provided the requested service properly, promptly & profesionally. I would be happy to supply these documents and details of the service calls to any interested party. Please contact Larry Schmalz at 859-282-8300. The Dabbs' wanted something for free. They neglected their equipment for four years and ran the system for a year(per A. Dabbs) without a filter change. When her equipment failed, she requested service then refused to pay. In my opinion Ms. Dabbs is a liar and a thief. I can also back up this statement with documentation. You can tell by her grammar that she is uneducated and is probably why she didn't take care of her equipment or could not afford to pay her bills.
