Dr. Heitner has been my go-to guy when it comes to his specialty for almost a decade. I no longer see him regularly since my post-college grad move, but when I'm back in my hometown visiting family, I try to fit an appointment in with him. He's not like any other psychiatrist I've had. I once went 3 YEARS without seeing him, and yet during our next appointment he surprised me by asking for updates on specific people or circumstances in my life that I'd even forgotten! In addition to being a skilled psychiatrist, Dr. Heitner offers practical and balanced advice, on both professional and personal levels. He's quite seriously my favorite doctor. I wish he could be my primary care physician and dentist as well.
