Ali's Olive Auto Center

This is my mechanic of choice. Very friendly and professional staff, not pushy on repairs that can wait until the next visit. Even though my contact is Bobby at the front, Ali the owner always takes an interest in my repairs and says hello. Possibly on the high side for prices, but I haven't shopped around much since the service is good.

I get my oil changed here all the time



They are fast and the price can't be beat.

I decided to go here on my way to work for a smog check... big mistake! IMO, given an open bay, a smog check should take no more than 15 minutes. I was here for well over an hour during which my car was simply idling in front of the open rollers. I was told the machine was not properly calibrated and had to wait for several attempts to get the machine working. I feel I should have been informed of this and told to come back later, instead of being asked to wait under the impression the issue would be promptly resolved. In any case if you do not heed my warning, I'd recommend calling ahead to verify the shop's equipment is ready.

I don't know how I went so long without knowing about Olive Auto Center! I used to take my car to the chain mechanic next door, and kept experiencing the same problems over and over again. A friend finally suggested Olive Auto Center to me. They not only found the problems, they fixed them (and additional problems they found once they started working on my car); and they did not go over the original price they quoted me!



When my car recently started stalling on me, I took it back. Once they diagnosed the issue, they took the time to do some research for me, found out it was a recall, and called around to the dealerships in my area to find someone who had the part in stock and could fix it for free.



After years of dealing with issue after issue on my car, and incompetent mechanics who could never seem to fix it, it's so nice to finally have a good mechanic who fixes things right the first time!
